No Sew sock Snowman

Hello!

This time I have brought you a very cute and super easy kids craft. It is a no sew sock snowman. It is a perfect craft to make with your kids in winter. Simple and quick! I found this idea here. I made it with my 3 years old and she loved it! 🙂  It can make a great christmas decor too!

Material:

  1. White sock
  2. Rice
  3. Rubber bands
  4. Ribbon
  5. Colorful buttons
  6. Black marker
  7. Another sock color for the hat
  8. Glue gun

Procedure in pictures:

Use a cone of paper to fill the sock with rice.

Pour enough rice to get good round shape.  Then tie the top with rubber band. Place another rubber band as shown in the picture below to form the head.

Add a ribbon to make the scarf. Use glue gun to secure it in place.

Add few colorful buttons using glue gun.

Use a black marker to draw eyes and mouth. I used pink chalk to add blush.

Make a little cone using orange cardstock to form the nose.

To make the hat, take an old sock in color and cut it into half.

Take first half and gently place on snowman’s head.

Then slowly roll it to make a hat for snowman 🙂

Snowman is ready!

Hope you enjoyed! Thank you for visiting! 🙂
